Skilled Roofer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Roofer to join our dynamic commerical roofing team. This role does require travel 2-6 weeks at time. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that roofs are durable, weather-resistant, and built to the highest standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install roofing materials using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment with precision and efficiency
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and roofing plans to ensure accurate installation aligned with project specifications
• Prepare roofing surfaces by cleaning, repairing, or replacing damaged areas before installation or repair work
• Secure roofing components using caulking, trim carpentry techniques, metal stud framing, or masonry as needed for different roofing systems
• Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, or insulation to facilitate smooth workflow on construction sites
• Conduct inspections during and after installation to ensure quality standards are met and identify areas requiring restoration or further work
• Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, masons, plumbers, and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks efficiently on-site

Qualifications

• Proven experience in roofing installation and repair within a construction environment
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and fabrication equipment used in roofing projects
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes related to roofing materials and labor costs
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with various construction disciplines such as framing carpentry, stucco application, tile laying, welding, masonry, and remodeling is a plus
• Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights safely
• Prior construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills
• Additional skills in caulking, trim carpentry, restoration work, metal stud framing, plumbing integration or handyman experience are advantageous

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
