We’re looking for a Sleep Therapy Advocate to join our team in Reno, NV. This is an inside sales and patient education role where you’ll speak directly with patients about their sleep study results, help them understand obstructive sleep apnea, and guide them through treatment options.

What You'll Do

Sleep Therapy Advocates serve as a bridge between diagnosis and treatment. Your role is to help patients understand their sleep apnea diagnosis and confidently begin therapy.

In this role you will:

  • Call patients who have completed sleep testing to review their results
  • Educate patients about obstructive sleep apnea and the health risks associated with untreated OSA
  • Explain treatment options, including CPAP therapy and alternative therapies when appropriate
  • Guide patients through the CPAP setup process and help them get started with treatment
  • Answer questions and overcome concerns patients may have about therapy
  • Work closely with our clinical and customer service teams to ensure a smooth patient experience
  • Document interactions and outcomes within our EMR system
  • Meet individual and team performance goals

This role combines patient education, relationship building, and inside sales.

  • Confident on the phone and comfortable guiding conversations
  • Motivated by helping patients improve their health
  • Naturally persuasive without being pushy
  • Organized and detail-oriented when documenting patient interactions
  • Comfortable working toward performance goals

Many of our most successful advocates come from backgrounds in healthcare, medical sales, patient education, or inside sales.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales or direct patient care role
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to build rapport over the phone
  • Comfortable discussing healthcare topics with patients
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience in healthcare, DME, sleep medicine, or medical sales
  • Experience with EMR systems
  • Experience in inside sales or patient outreach roles

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary
