Slime Lab is a fun, hands-on creative studio where kids explore, create, and celebrate through interactive slime workshops and unforgettable birthday parties. We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and positive team member who loves working with children and thrives in a lively, creative environment.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on, engaging with kids, and creating memorable experiences for families. As a Slime Host, you will be the face of our studio—leading workshops, hosting parties, and ensuring every guest leaves with a smile.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and host slime workshops for children in a fun, engaging, and organized manner
- Facilitate and manage birthday parties, ensuring a smooth, high-energy, and memorable experience
- Interact with children and families in a warm, patient, and enthusiastic way
- Prepare materials and supplies for workshops and events in advance
- Clean and reset workstations efficiently between sessions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming studio environment at all times
- Assist customers with retail purchases, answer questions, and provide product recommendations
- Handle basic transactions using a POS system
- Restock inventory and supplies as needed (must be able to lift up to 30 lbs)
- Follow all safety, cleanliness, and operational procedures
- Support team members and help maintain a positive, collaborative work environment
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Enjoy working with children and able to engage groups with energy and patience
- Energetic, outgoing, and comfortable leading activities
- Responsible, dependable, and punctual
- Honest with strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable performing light physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience working with children (babysitting, camps, daycare, teaching, etc.)
- Experience in hosting events, parties, or group activities
- Retail or customer service experience
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a background check
- Must be willing to undergo random drug testing
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
