SMEs Credit Enhancement Officer (3875)

Job Accountabilities

  • Work closely with the Business and Risk teams to allow them to touch various aspects of the credit portfolio, in addition to making recommendations for ways to limit risk and seize emerging opportunities
  • Analyze credit data and financial statements received before the Risk submission to identify the degree of risk involved in lending money or extending credit.
  • Determine the expected profitability of loans by analyzing a business's financial data received including quality of management, income growth, and market shares.
  • Communicate with the relevant stakeholder and clients to ensure the implementation of the client requests in a satisfactory manner
  • Monitor customers’ facilities and support packages to ensure adherence to the approved credit structure and conditions
  • Ensure that utilization is within the pre-set purpose and conditions to minimize any risks towards the Bank.
  • Handle any possible fraud/risk cases seriously and report them to the direct supervisor for guidance and assistance to minimize any fraud / risk cases that might occur
  • Collaborate with sales force for all gathering assets and assist all cross-functional team to collaborate with portfolio management team.
  • Provides periodic reports and analysis to the SME Credit Underwriting Head in addition to tracking the product analysis, historical patterns and campaigns to continuously support revenue generating process
  • Collect and analyze the data of existing SMEs clients to prepare SBL top-up cases and credit packages along with potential clients in addition to conducting a periodic follow up on granted credit facilities and review its annual renewal procedures
  • Conduct periodic calls to ensure that the business exists and obtain all documents required for renewal or top-up and prepare calls’ reports accordingly

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree of Commerce, Business administration, Economics, accounting or its equivalence.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience – Credit Certified

Skills:

  • Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Good Problem solving and ability to work under pressure
  • Good basic use of Microsoft office
  • Sales and target oriented
  • Strong knowledge of credit underwriting criteria & risk analysis.
  • Full awareness of bank product, services, policies, rules & regulation
