The Social Marketing Director will own our online presence and help turn our relationships into a recognizable, trusted brand in our markets.
Role summary
The Social Marketing Director is responsible for planning, creating, posting, and optimizing content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Indeed, as well as other platforms as needed. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who loves content, data, and turning views into business results.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a social media content calendar for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Indeed company pages.
- Create and publish engaging posts, short-form videos, stories, and graphics that align with our brand and business goals.
- Manage day-to-day activity on all channels: posting, responding to comments/DMs, and engaging with followers and local communities.
- Collaborate with leadership and team members to highlight success stories, testimonials, educational content, and promotions.
- Track and report performance metrics (followers, reach, engagement, clicks, leads) and recommend improvements each month.
- Stay current on platform trends, audio, formats, and algorithm changes, especially on Instagram and TikTok.
- Support employer branding by creating content for recruiting on Indeed and social platforms.
- Create and publish engaging posts, short-form videos, stories, and graphics that align with our brand and business goals, using tools such as Canva and native platform editors.
Required qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing social media for a company or brand (agency or in-house).
- Hands-on experience running Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Indeed company pages (posting, scheduling, community management, analytics).
- Strong skills in short-form video and basic editing (e.g., Reels, TikTok, in-app editors or simple tools like CapCut/Canva).
- Clear, concise writing and captioning skills, with a good eye for branding and design.
- Comfort working closely with leadership and team members to capture content in-office and at events.

Nice-to-have
- Experience with paid social campaigns (boosting posts, basic ad manager use).
- Experience in mortgage, lending, real estate, or financial services.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and website traffic metrics.
Work location and schedule
- In-office role (preferred) with some flexibility for remote content work as needed, depending on your setup.
