Key responsibilities:

  • Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Content: Create, curate, and manage all published content, including text, images, and video.
  • Campaigns: Plan and launch social media campaigns to promote products, services, or other initiatives.
  • Community management: Monitor social channels, listen to and engage with followers, and respond to comments and questions.
  • Analytics: Track key performance metrics, analyze data, and provide reports to demonstrate ROI and inform future strategies.
  • Trend monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and public relations, to ensure brand messaging is consistent.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic editing skill for social media platform.
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of different social media platforms and their audiences.
  • Creativity in content creation and campaign development.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strategic thinking and project management skills.
  • Often requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, though experience can substitute.
