Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

Job Overview:

Hours are M-F 9-3pm. The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and optimization of our social media strategy. This role will help create content, engage with our community, track performance metrics, and contribute creative ideas that align with our brand voice and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and scheduling daily content (text, image, video, stories, etc.) across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
• Monitor social channels for trends, community engagement, and potential content opportunities.
• Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to align social content with broader campaigns.
• Stay up-to-date on social media trends, tools, best practices, and platform updates.
• Help manage influencer and partnership outreach, as needed.
• Support the development of social media calendars and creative briefs.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or a related field (internships count!).
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, detail oriented
• Creative mindset with an eye for design and trends.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities.
• Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Sprout, Buffer) is a plus.
• Basic graphic design or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut) are a bonus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with paid social ad campaigns.
• Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Insights, etc.).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
