Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our creative team of educators at Figment Creative Labs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience across various platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of social media marketing, content creation, and analytics to drive engagement and support our overall digital marketing efforts.
Duties
- Develop and execute social media marketing strategies that align with business goals.
- Create compelling content for various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Newsletters..
- Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Adobe Creative Suite to schedule posts and manage campaigns. Must have experience using word press editor, design Apps like Canva and Figma, basic CRM knowledge, and experience with all Google applications including workplace.
- Conduct SEO and keyword research to optimize content for search engines.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, audience engagement, and brand mentions through social listening.
- Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Create visually appealing graphics and videos for social media posts that are on brand with our fun creative business.
- Ensure all content is proofread for accuracy and aligns with branding guidelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, public relations, and social media management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and video editing software.
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles and branding strategies.
- Familiarity with Facebook Advertising and other paid social media campaigns.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on relationship management.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics is preferred.
- Experience in content creation, photography, and digital marketing.
