Social Media and Marketing Coordinator, Part Time

Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team. Founded in 1958 by Melba Huber, Melba's Dance is the largest dancing school and shoppe in the RGV. Monday through Thursday and Saturday, we have hundreds of kids dancing in our seven studios and parents looking at them in our waiting rooms. There's lots of material for social media and marketing.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and promote our brand. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing trends, and content creation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Create and curate compelling content across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and perhaps TikTok.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, audience engagement, and feedback through social listening.
• Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to measure the success of campaigns.
• Good writing skills to engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner while maintaining relationship management.
• Conduct proofreading of all content to ensure accuracy and alignment with branding guidelines.
• Assist in e-commerce initiatives by promoting products through social media channels.
• Create video content for various platforms, utilizing video editing skills as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing.
• Strong photography skills for capturing engaging visuals for posts.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and experience with keyword research is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
