We are seeking a self starter, creative and detail-oriented Marketing and Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing and a strong understanding of social media platforms. This role involves developing engaging content, managing social media channels, and analyzing performance metrics to enhance our online presence and brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement across platforms.
- Create compelling content tailored for various social media channels, including text, images, and videos.
- Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Adobe Creative Suite for scheduling posts and managing campaigns.
- Conduct SEO and keyword research to optimize content for search engines.
- Monitor social media trends and conduct social listening to inform strategy adjustments.
- Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Engage with followers through relationship management, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the public relations team to ensure brand consistency across all communications.
- Assist in e-commerce initiatives by promoting products through targeted social media advertising, including Facebook Advertising.
- Perform proofreading and editing of all content before publication to maintain high-quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, graphic design, photography, and video editing.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management and marketing with a strong portfolio of content creation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other graphic design tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with digital marketing concepts including branding, public relations, and e-commerce strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage audiences effectively across various platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword research techniques is essential.
- Experience with video editing software is a plus.
