About the role
What you will be doing
As the Community Intern, you are Zanderio’s daily presence inside the WordPress and WooCommerce ecosystem. Your job is to be genuinely helpful to store owners in the places they go when they have a problem, WordPress.org forums, WooCommerce support threads, and plugin discussion boards.
This is not a promotional role. You are an expert first, a Zanderio representative second. Every reply you write should solve the merchant’s problem completely. Trust is built through competence, and that trust is Zanderio’s most durable growth asset in this channel.
You work directly under Shumaila, who provides the article library you will draw from in replies. A core part of your role is closing the loop: when you encounter a forum question that Shumaila has not yet written about, you document it and feed it back as a content brief. Your observations on the ground directly shape what Shumaila writes next.

Day-to-day responsibilities
WordPress.org forum monitoring and replies
- Monitor WordPress.org plugin support forums daily, focusing on WooCommerce and related plugins (cart abandonment, product recommendations, live chat, conversions)
- Respond to threads where merchants are experiencing problems related to customer engagement, sales chat, product discovery, or conversion rate
- Answer questions completely and genuinely before mentioning Zanderio — partial answers designed to create dependency will not be accepted
- Link to relevant Zanderio SEO articles from Shumaila’s library when the article directly answers the merchant’s question
- Never open a reply by promoting Zanderio — the product mention comes at the end, and only when directly relevant
WooCommerce community participation
- Participate in WooCommerce official community channels (Facebook Group, Slack, community boards)
- Share merchant success stories from Zanderio’s live deployments (Bumperbrosauto, Izzy Wellness, Homezze, Tony of Beverly, TopTier) when genuinely relevant to a discussion
- Engage in peer-to-peer conversations about conversion and customer engagement without leading with the product
- Build and maintain a consistent community profile that merchants begin to recognise over time
Content brief pipeline
- Maintain a shared running document where you log unanswered or under-served forum questions
- Record each question verbatim alongside the thread URL and date — this becomes Shumaila’s keyword research pipeline
- Flag high-priority questions (those appearing multiple times across different threads) to Shumaila immediately rather than waiting for the weekly sync
- Note the language merchants use when describing their problems — this phrasing feeds directly into article titles and community messaging
Authority engine ownership
- You own the Authority Engine intersection: the loop between Shumaila’s SEO articles and WordPress forum replies
- When Shumaila publishes a new article, you deploy it in the next relevant forum thread within 48 hours
- Track which articles generate the most engagement when linked in forum replies — report findings to Shumaila weekly

Skills and qualities
- Genuine interest in the WordPress and WooCommerce ecosystem — you do not need to be a developer, but you should understand how ecommerce stores work
- Strong written communication in English — you will be writing forum replies that represent Zanderio publicly
- Patient and thorough — you do not cut corners in answers; you solve the problem fully
- Organised — you can maintain a consistent documentation habit alongside daily community work
- Understands community norms — you know the difference between being helpful and being promotional, and you respect that line instinctively
- Curious and observant — you notice patterns across forum threads and can articulate what merchants are really asking for

- Prior experience contributing to open-source communities or WordPress.org forums
- Familiarity with WooCommerce plugins (cart, checkout, product pages)
- Basic understanding of SEO and how forum backlinks contribute to domain authority
- Experience with AI or chatbot tools, even as a user

Your intersection in the growth engine
You own the Authority Engine — the intersection between SEO Articles and the WordPress Community channel. This means every article Shumaila publishes flows through you into the community, and every unanswered merchant question you surface flows back to Shumaila as a content brief.
At full operation, the Authority Engine produces: contextual backlinks from WordPress.org (a high-authority domain), compounding community trust for Zanderio’s profile, and a content calendar driven by real merchant demand rather than guesswork.

What good looks like
- Forum threads answered per week (target: 10–15 quality replies, not volume for its own sake)
- Content briefs submitted to Shumaila per week (target: 3–5 documented forum questions)
- Article library utilisation: percentage of replies that include a relevant Zanderio article link
- Community profile consistency: daily presence across monitored channels, no extended gaps
- Zero promotional flags or removed posts from WordPress.org moderators
Pay: Up to Rs10,000.00 per month
