Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Content Writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies. This role involves crafting engaging content across various platforms, optimizing for SEO, and utilizing analytics to drive content performance. The Content Writer will collaborate with marketing and design teams to create compelling narratives that resonate with our audience and enhance our brand presence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality written content for blogs, websites, social media, and marketing materials.
  • Conduct keyword research to optimize content for search engines and improve visibility.
  • Utilize SEO best practices to enhance content performance and drive organic traffic.
  • Engage in social listening to understand audience preferences and trends.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers to create visually appealing content using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Manage social media accounts using tools like Hootsuite and Buffer, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
  • Analyze web analytics through Google Analytics to measure content effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proofread and edit content for clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Support public relations efforts by creating press releases and promotional materials.
  • Assist in e-commerce initiatives by developing product descriptions that attract customers.
  • Create video content as needed, utilizing video editing skills to enhance storytelling.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in content creation with a strong portfolio showcasing writing samples.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword research techniques.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar applications.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for graphic design tasks.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies including social media marketing and Facebook Advertising.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in grammar, punctuation, and style consistency.
  • Understanding of branding principles and how they apply to content development.
  • Experience in e-commerce environments is a plus.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $24.29 - $29.29 per hour
