Position Overview

We are seeking a part-time, creative and detail-oriented Social Media Content Creator to develop engaging and educational content that promotes health awareness, supports patient engagement, and strengthens our digital presence. The ideal candidate will create accurate, compelling, and compliant healthcare content across social media platforms while ensuring alignment with healthcare regulations and brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and publish engaging social media content related to healthcare topics, including prevention, wellness, treatments, and patient education
  • Produce short-form videos, graphics, reels, and educational posts for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Translate complex medical information into easy-to-understand content for patients and the public
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, marketing teams, and healthcare professionals to ensure medical accuracy
  • Ensure content complies with HIPAA and healthcare communication guidelines
  • Develop and maintain a social media content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and health awareness events
  • Monitor social media trends and apply them appropriately to healthcare messaging
  • Track performance metrics such as engagement, reach, and conversions to improve content strategy
  • Respond to comments and messages in a professional and patient-friendly manner when required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Health, Journalism, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in social media content creation or digital marketing
  • Experience creating healthcare, medical, or wellness-related content preferred
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to simplify medical terminology for general audiences
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare communication standards
  • Experience with social media tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or Meta Business Suite

Preferred Skills

  • Graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
  • Video editing experience for short-form educational healthcare videos
  • Understanding of healthcare marketing and patient engagement strategies
  • Familiarity with SEO and healthcare digital marketing

Pay: Up to $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Alpharetta, GA 30022
