Social Media Content Producer

Overview:

Uptempo is looking for a Social Media Content Creator to plan, produce, and deliver high-quality content across multiple brands.

This role is hands-on and execution-focused. You will be responsible for creating content that captures attention, aligns with brand standards, and drives performance across social platforms.

You’ll work directly with a small, high-performing team on real client projects with real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Planning

• Develop content ideas aligned with brand and campaign strategy
• Build simple shot lists and content plans
• Coordinate shoot timing and logistics

Production

• Capture video and photo content (primarily short-form, social-first)
• Execute shoots efficiently with a high standard of quality
• Adapt quickly on-site to get the best content possible
• Create graphics and posts for social in Canva, Adobe and/or other platforms

Editing & Delivery

• Edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
• Ensure content meets brand and platform standards
• Deliver content on time and organized

Creative Execution

• Develop hooks, angles, and storytelling approaches
• Maintain consistency across brands
• Continuously improve content quality and performance

Qualifications:

• Experience shooting and editing social media content
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and short-form content trends
• Ability to work independently and move quickly
• High attention to detail and quality
• Organized and reliable

Preferred (Not Required):

• Experience working with brands or agencies
• Familiarity with Adobe, Davinci, CapCut, Canva, etc.
• Basic understanding of content performance metrics
