Social Media Content Specialist

Position Overview

UpLift Dispensaries is seeking a creative and organized Brand & Marketing Social Media

Content Specialist to support the development and execution of marketing initiatives

across our retail locations.

This role blends content creation, brand marketing, and retail promotional support. The

position will assist in producing visual and digital content, supporting marketing

campaigns, and helping maintain a consistent brand presence across multiple

channels.

The ideal candidate is someone who understands modern content trends but can also

think strategically about how marketing supports retail growth, brand positioning, and

customer engagement.

This role is collaborative and fast-paced. The Brand & Marketing Social Media Content

Specialist will work closely with leadership and store teams to capture content, support

campaigns, and help execute marketing initiatives that elevate the UpLift brand.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Capture high quality photo and video content across retail locations, events, and

company initiatives.

  • Produce digital content designed for use across social media, web, and marketing

materials.

  • Edit visual content using professional editing tools to ensure high-quality presentation.
  • Assist in developing creative concepts that showcase the UpLift brand and customer

experience.

Digital & Social Media Support

  • Manage the company’s digital presence across platforms such as Instagram and

Facebook.

  • Schedule and publish content through approved management tools.
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments or messages when needed.
  • Maintain organization of content libraries and marketing assets.

Campaign Collaboration

  • Work with marketing team to support seasonal campaigns, retail promotions, and community initiatives.
  • Identify emerging content trends and recommend creative opportunities for the brand.
  • Ensure content stays aligned with brand voice and visual standards.

Marketing & Brand Support

  • Assist in the execution of company marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
  • Support retail locations with promotional marketing materials and content.
  • Help maintain brand consistency across digital platforms and in-store marketing.
  • Coordinate with leadership on marketing priorities, messaging, and campaign timing.

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience creating digital content for brands or businesses
  • Strong photo and video production skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends
  • Strong creative thinking and visual storytelling ability
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Experience working within a retail or consumer brand environment
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom)
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and scheduling platforms
  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns or brand initiatives

Portfolio Requirement

Applicants should be prepared to provide examples demonstrating creative and digital

content capabilities.

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
