We are looking for an energetic and creative Social Media Manager to support our brand voice, digital presence, and audience engagement across all platforms. This is a junior-level role ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-paced company under the guidance of our Owner & Master Distiller.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Social Media Manager will coordinate, capture, edit, post, and maintain content across all relevant digital platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to drive engagement, brand awareness, and increase in-person visit and sales across locations. The Social Media Manager will use data reporting and metrics to make informed decisions about social media strategy to continuously optimize the company’s digital presence and respond to the changing market and audience. The Social Media Manager will also maintain compliance in accordance with federal regulation on the sales of alcohol.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Content Creation & Digital Storytelling
• Support the development of compelling, on-brand digital content across platforms,
• Manage content calendars to ensure consistent posting and timely campaigns aligned with product launches, events, and seasonal goals.
• Creation of video, photography, graphics, and written materials to promote Liberty & Plenty Distillery's products, events, and partnerships across social media platforms
• Collaborate with internal teams and external creators under the direction to maintain visual and brand consistency.

• Social Media Management
• Execute Liberty & Plenty's organic and paid social media strategies.
• Monitor social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, etc.), helping to grow engagement and community interaction.
• Keep up-to-date with trends in the spirits and hospitality industry to support fresh and relevant content ideas.
• Respond to comments, direct messages, and user-generated content in a timely manner.

• Paid Advertising & Digital Promotions
• Support the Marketing Coordinator in the planning and execution of paid ad campaigns across social media and Google Ads.
• Assist with budget monitoring and targeting adjustments to optimize campaign results on social media platforms
• Track performance and provide data to support ROI analysis.

• Brand Marketing & Partnerships
• Assist in the coordination of key partnerships, activations, and influencer marketing campaigns.
• Support public relations initiatives, such as press outreach and event promotions through content creation

• Reporting & Analytics
• Assist in tracking and analyzing key performance metrics across digital platforms.
• Help generate performance reports and provide initial insights to support strategy adjustments.

• Project Management and Tracking
• Execute social media campaigns from start to finish
• Assist in tracking timelines and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Use project management tools to organize tasks and update the Owner & Master Distiller on progress.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, or an internship/entry-level role; experience in the food & beverage, spirits, or hospitality industry is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in social media (Meta Business Suite, Later, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or HubSpot).
• Understanding of SEO principles and Google Analytics.
• Basic knowledge with graphic design/photo tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
• Copywriting for social media platforms
• Photography and video capture and editing
• Creative Skills: Strong writing, storytelling, and visual content creation abilities.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage tasks, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Team Player: Collaborative, communicative, and eager to learn from senior leadership.

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with influencer campaigns or partnerships.
• Familiarity with North Carolina's beverage industry.
• Exposure to DTC strategies or e-commerce platforms.
• Understanding of marketing compliance for the alcohol industry

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Hourly Pay Rate: $20-25 per hour

Expected Hours: 15-20 hours per week
