Social Media Coordinator

Summary: Seeking a social media coordinator and content creator to grow and maintain the social media presence of a prominent doctor in the region, reinforcing his brand as an approachable, knowledgeable figure in his field, and building out a broader following for him across different demographics. We are looking for a blend of relatable, humorous, and educational content to reflect the doctors' down-to-earth nature and present medical information in a digestible way.

Hours: Part time

Location: Job applicant should be able to be on-site in Lake Oconee 1 day a week for content creation, and can manage the social media profiles remotely otherwise.

Applications/Experience: Applicant should have a good understanding of and practical experience using Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn, as well as softwares used to cross-post across platforms. Familiarity with content editing and design software like CapCut, Canva, or the Adobe suite is also desired. Applicant should maintain a knowledge of current trends on various social platforms, and will be responsible for setting a monthly filming schedule for the doctor, filming the needed content, and executing the social media calendar each month.

Applicant may be asked to cut and edit footage from longer-form media packages (podcast appearances) to share on socials.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
