Social Media Coordinator

Job Summary
Royal Gold is seeking a creative, organized, and trend-aware Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow our digital presence across multiple platforms. This role will focus on content creation, community engagement, influencer coordination, campaign execution, and brand storytelling that connects with home gardeners, organic growers, retailers, and landscaping professionals.

The ideal candidate understands social media strategy, visual storytelling, and consumer engagement—especially within gardening industry

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Create engaging photo, video, and written content that highlights products, gardening tips, seasonal campaigns, and educational topics
  • Execute product launches, promotions, giveaways, and seasonal marketing campaigns
  • Community Management: Monitor and engage with online communities by responding to comments, messages, and customer inquiries
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure brand consistency and voice
  • Coordinate influencer partnerships, creator outreach, and user-generated content campaigns
  • Track social media analytics and provide monthly performance reports with recommendations on how to improve and grow business
  • Stay current on platform trends, gardening trends, and emerging social media strategies
  • Assist with photo/video shoots, trade shows, retail events, and on-site content capture
  • Support email marketing and digital advertising initiatives when needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of social media, digital marketing, or content creation experience
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube best practices
  • Experience using social media management and analytics tools (Meta, Google)
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects ad platforms simultaneously
  • Knowledge or passion for gardening, agriculture, landscaping, sustainability, or outdoor living preferred
  • Photography and short-form video experience is a plus

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with consumer-packaged goods (CPG), gardening brands, or agricultural products
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and affiliate programs
  • Understanding of SEO and social media advertising
  • Experience managing community engagement and brand partnerships

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation starts at $24 / hour, depending on experience
