Job Purpose
The Social Media Executive will be responsible for managing and enhancing BYST’s digital presence across platforms.
The role involves developing engaging content, running impactful campaigns, and using analytics to strengthen BYST’s brand visibility and outreach.
The position plays a key part in communicating BYST’s mission, showcasing success stories, and engaging stakeholders through effective online storytelling.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Content Development & Management
- Create, curate, and manage engaging posts, reels, videos, and graphics for multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube).
- Ensure all content aligns with BYST’s brand guidelines and communications strategy.
- Draft compelling captions, campaign messages, and scripts.
2. Campaign Planning & Execution
- Design and implement social media campaigns to promote BYST initiatives, events, and impact stories.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns align with organizational objectives.
- Engage with online communities, influencers, and stakeholders to amplify outreach.
3. Monitoring & Analytics
- Track and analyze social media metrics (reach, impressions, engagement, followers).
- Prepare monthly performance reports and recommend improvements.
- Identify trends and opportunities to optimize content and engagement.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Respond to queries, messages, and comments promptly and professionally.
- Showcase entrepreneur success stories and organizational milestones.
- Support donor/partner visibility through digital platforms.
5. Innovation & Learning
- Stay updated on social media trends, algorithms, and tools.
- Experiment with new features (polls, reels, live sessions, podcasts, etc.) to drive engagement.
- Suggest innovative ideas for digital storytelling and campaigns.
Key Competencies
Functional Competencies:
- Strong content writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Basic graphic design and video editing (Canva, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar).
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.).
- Understanding of digital campaign planning and execution.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in managing social media platforms, preferably in NGOs, CSR, or social impact organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to grow social media presence and engage audiences.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
