Through our network of Lighthouses across India, we nurture young people’s potential and help them become catalysts of change in their communities.

We are looking for a creative and hands-on Social Media & Visual Content Specialist who can bring our stories to life through compelling visuals, photos, videos, and digital designs.

Role Overview

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling through visuals, thrives in dynamic environments, and is comfortable switching between design work, field photography, and event coverage. You’ll work closely with the communications and program teams to create engaging content that showcases the impact of our work and inspires others to join our mission.

Key ResponsibilitiesContent Design & Creation

  • Conceptualize and design flyers, posters, digital creatives, and social media posts that reflect the Lighthouse brand and voice.
  • Support campaign designs for donor engagement, events, and community outreach.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all materials.

Photography & Videography

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos during events, training sessions, and field visits.
  • Document real stories of youth and communities in a sensitive, authentic manner.
  • Organize and maintain the digital media archive.

Editing & Production

  • Edit photos and videos for social media, website, and internal communication.
  • Create short-form videos (reels, impact stories, testimonials, event highlights) using tools like Shotcut, VN, CapCut, or Canva.
  • Add captions, graphics, and branding elements as per campaign needs.

Event Coverage & Support

  • Provide on-ground support during events — photography, videography, live coverage, and coordination for branding materials.
  • Assist in event setup and visual documentation for reports and social media.

Social Media Support

  • Coordinate for content scheduling and posting.
  • Suggest creative ideas to enhance engagement and visibility across platforms.
  • Track post-performance and audience engagement metrics.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Multimedia, Design, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in photography, videography, graphic design, or social media content creation.
  • Proficiency in Canva, video editing tools.
  • Strong sense of visual storytelling, composition, and design aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for working in the development sector and documenting stories of change.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
