About This Role

Parks Car Care is looking for a Social Media Intern to create, edit, and publish short-form content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. You'll build and maintain a content calendar, capture product and behind-the-scenes footage on-site, and turn raw material into polished posts on a consistent weekly cadence. This is an execution-focused role — you'll be creating and shipping content, not writing strategy decks.

PCC is a growing ecommerce company that sells specialty auto detailing supplies to DIY customers and professional detailers. We sell across Amazon, TikTok Shop, Shopify, and eBay, with Walmart coming soon. We need someone organized, dependable, and comfortable producing content quickly and consistently.

What You'll Do

• Create and edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
• Build and maintain a content calendar with consistent weekly publishing cadence
• Capture product, lifestyle, behind-the-scenes, and promotional footage on-site
• Edit raw footage into finished, platform-ready posts quickly and cleanly
• Package content so it's organized, on time, and ready to publish
• Support a consistent posting schedule — reels, shorts, and posts delivered on cadence
• Track basic content analytics including views, engagement, subscriber trends, and click-throughs
• Keep content files, folders, drafts, and assets organized
• Help identify what content performs and adapt the approach based on results

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable filming on a phone and editing short-form video
• Familiar with TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook content formats
• Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines consistently
• Able to work on-site in Charlotte, NC
• Able to provide examples of content or editing work (portfolio, social links, or samples)
• Self-directed — you can take a content idea from concept to published post

Nice to Have

• Experience with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express, Premiere Rush, or similar editing tools
• Content calendar or scheduling tool experience
• Ecommerce or product-content experience
• Basic analytics comfort (views, engagement, click-through trends)
• Experience turning longer footage into short-form clips
