Social Media Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager who can build, execute, and optimize comprehensive social media strategies tailored to the UAE and India markets. The role involves creating engaging content, managing paid and organic campaigns, monitoring performance, and growing an active online community that aligns with the brand voice and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies that are aligned with overall business objectives; tailor strategies for both the UAE and India markets.
  • Create, curate, and manage high-quality content (text, images, video, infographics etc.) for various platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, TikTok, possibly language-specific platforms or regional favorites.
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content consistently; maintain a social media calendar including campaigns, promotions, product launches, local events/festivals etc.
  • Manage and optimize both organic posts and paid social media campaigns (ads), including budgeting, targeting, ad creativities, monitoring performance, and optimizing for ROI.
  • Manage community engagement: respond to comments/messages, manage customer queries, reviews, and foster relationship with followers.
  • Monitor social media trends, platform updates, and competitor activity; leverage insights to improve content, campaign performance, engagement rates.
  • Set up and track relevant KPIs (e.g., reach, impressions, engagement, follower growth, conversion, CTR, ROI etc.), analyze metrics regularly, and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and visuals across all social channels; adhere to cultural sensitivities, local norms, legal and regulatory considerations (especially for content in UAE).
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams: creative/design, PR, product, sales etc. Possibly manage external agencies, freelancers, or influencers.
  • Stay up to date with digital/social media best practices, emerging tools, media formats, and technologies.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media or related field. Postgraduate qualification is a plus.
  • Experience: Typically 2-5 years (or more) of social media / digital marketing experience; experience across multiple platforms; proven track record in developing and executing social campaigns.
  • Experience with both organic and paid social media strategies.
  • Strong writing, editing, storytelling skills in English; proficiency in regional/local languages (Arabic in UAE; Hindi, regional languages in India) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with social media tools & platforms: content scheduler/management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social etc.), analytics tools (platform native + Google Analytics), and ad tools (Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads etc.).
  • Good understanding of local markets: consumer behavior, culture, trends, and regulations in UAE and/or India.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and content streams.
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders.
  • Adaptability, proactivity, and willingness to experiment and iterate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
