Digital Amigos is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our social media presence and campaigns. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing social media strategies that build brand awareness, drive engagement, and support our clients’ business goals. This role requires a balance of creativity, analytical thinking, and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement.
- Create monthly social media plans and content calendars for multiple clients and in-house brands.
- Research industry trends, target audience behavior, and competitor activities to inform content strategies.
Content Creation & Management
- Collaborate with the design and content teams to produce engaging posts, reels, stories, and videos.
- Write compelling captions and ensure content aligns with brand tone and objectives.
- Manage daily posting, scheduling, and monitoring across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, etc.).
- Ensure brand consistency and quality across all social media touchpoints.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth, conversions).
- Use insights to optimize content strategies and improve overall performance.
- Manage paid advertising campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads, etc.) if required.
Community Engagement
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly to maintain audience engagement.
- Build and nurture online communities around the brand.
- Collaborate with influencers or partners for campaigns when applicable.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with graphic designers, video editors, and content writers to execute campaigns effectively.
- Coordinate with clients to understand objectives, feedback, and approvals.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging tools or platforms.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience (1–3 years) as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
- Experience with scheduling/analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Basic understanding of paid promotions and digital marketing principles.
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines.
- Basic design and video editing skills are required (e.g., Canva or Photoshop for simple creatives; CapCut or Premiere Pro for short-form edits).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
