Role Overview
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of official social media platforms. The role demands strong content sensibility, hands-on experience with AI-driven social media tools, and the ability to work closely with internal teams and government stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate official social media handles including Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Plan and execute content calendars aligned with campaign objectives, government communication guidelines, and public outreach goals.
- Create, curate, and optimize content using AI-based tools for text, creatives, captions, and hashtags.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as design, video, content, analytics, and client-facing teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Utilize social media management platforms with AI capabilities for social listening, audience behavior analysis, sentiment tracking, and trend identification.
- Monitor daily performance metrics including reach, engagement, impressions, growth trends, and sentiment analysis.
- Identify trending topics and real-time opportunities relevant to public communication and government initiatives.
- Prepare detailed performance dashboards, weekly and monthly analytical reports, and trend documentation suitable for submission to clients and government authorities.
- Ensure compliance with official communication protocols, approvals, and content governance standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of proven experience in social media management, preferably in large-scale or institutional projects.
- Prior experience managing government or public-sector official social media handles is highly preferred.
- Strong hands-on exposure to AI-powered content generation and social media management tools.
- Expertise in social analytics, reporting, and documentation with attention to detail.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and departments under tight timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the required languages.
