Job Description: Manager, Social Media

Reports to: Director, Performance Marketing


Job role :

As The Red Palace prepares for its grand unveiling in 2026, the Social Media Manager will be responsible for shaping and managing the brand’s digital presence across social platforms. This role serves as the primary digital voice of The Red Palace, translating its story, heritage, and modern Saudi luxury into compelling, culturally authentic content.

The position requires a balance of strategic thinking, creative leadership, and cultural awareness to build a distinctive and globally resonant social media presence aligned with the brand’s values and positioning.


Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy & Brand Storytelling

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with The Red Palace’s brand narrative, positioning, and commercial objectives.
  • Define and maintain clear content pillars, visual identity, and tone of voice reflecting Saudi heritage, craftsmanship, and modern luxury.
  • Plan, manage, and execute content calendars across key platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.
  • Ensure all content and interactions consistently reflect the company’s legacy values, competencies, and desired cultural behaviors.
  • Act as a role model in representing the brand’s standards in all internal and external engagements.

2. Content Creation & Creative Direction

  • Lead the development of high-quality, story-driven content including photography, video, reels, captions, and editorial narratives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and creative partners to capture and showcase architecture, experiences, and moments across the Palace.
  • Oversee influencer visits, content shoots, and digital collaborations, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and cultural sensitivity.
  • Ensure content quality, consistency, and storytelling excellence across all platforms.

3. Community Management & Engagement

  • Build, grow, and nurture a global community of followers aligned with the brand’s values and positioning.
  • Manage daily engagement across platforms, responding thoughtfully and professionally to build authentic relationships.
  • Identify, evaluate, and collaborate with high-value influencers, cultural figures, and digital creators relevant to the luxury and hospitality space.

4. Analytics & Performance Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze social media performance using platform insights and analytics tools.
  • Track key metrics including engagement, reach, growth, and content performance.
  • Prepare clear monthly performance reports with insights, trends, and actionable recommendations for optimization.

5. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

  • Work closely with Commercial, Marketing, and Guest Experience teams to amplify key moments, campaigns, and experiences.
  • Support pre-opening initiatives through targeted storytelling, teaser campaigns, and influencer activations.
  • Align social media activity with broader digital marketing, PR, and brand initiatives.

6. Representation & Brand Advocacy

  • Act as a cultural storyteller and brand ambassador, representing The Red Palace with authenticity, refinement, and credibility.
  • Stay informed on emerging digital trends, platform developments, and best practices within the luxury and hospitality sectors.
  • Proactively recommend innovations and new approaches to enhance digital storytelling and brand reach.

  • Strong working knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X) and their content mechanics.
  • Ability to adapt content formats and storytelling approaches based on platform behavior and audience insights.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Commercial, Guest Experience, and external partners.
  • Clear communication and alignment skills to ensure consistency of messaging and priorities.

6. Community & Relationship Management

  • Ability to build and sustain meaningful engagement with digital audiences and brand advocates.
  • Professional and thoughtful approach to community interaction and reputation management.

7. Analytical & Insight-Driven Mindset

  • Ability to interpret social media data and insights to inform decisions and optimize content performance.
  • Structured approach to reporting, with a focus on insights rather than vanity metrics.

8. Ownership & Accountability

  • Strong sense of responsibility for the brand’s digital voice and public perception.
  • Ability to operate independently in a pre-opening environment with limited structure.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in social media management, preferably within luxury, hospitality, lifestyle, or cultural brands.
  • Proven experience in content strategy, storytelling, and influencer management.
  • Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to represent Saudi heritage in a modern, global context.
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills in English & Arabic is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using social media analytics tools.
