Role Overview
- The Social Media Manager is the strategic owner of Brainwires digital brand presence across all platforms. This role is responsible for planning, execution, performance optimization, and team leadership to ensure social media directly contributes to brand authority, student acquisition, and revenue growth.
Core Responsibilities
1 Strategic Planning & Brand Alignment
- Develop monthly content calendar aligned with admissions targets.
- Define platform-specific strategies (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Ensure all content reflects Elance’s academic positioning.
2 Platform Growth & Engagement
- Drive 10–15% MoM growth across platforms.
- Improve content hooks, storytelling, and engagement triggers.
- Ensure consistency in posting frequency.
- Monitor trends and adapt strategy accordingly.
3 Campaign Management & Revenue Impact
- Plan and execute admission-focused campaigns.
- Work with Performance Marketing team for paid amplification.
- Track ROAS and optimize based on data.
- Create funnel-specific content (awareness → consideration → conversion).
4 Analytics & Performance Review
Conduct weekly performance review meetings.
Track:
- Engagement rate
- Reach & impressions
- Lead generation from social
- Conversion quality
- Submit Monthly Social Performance Report to Marketing Head/CEO.
5 Team Leadership & Coordination
Manage:
- Content Creators
- Video Editors
- Designers
- Community Manager
- Approve all final creatives before publishing.
Coordinate with:
- Sales team for testimonials
- Academics for faculty positioning
- Centers for ground-level content
- Conduct weekly review meetings with the team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years in Social Media Strategy (Education preferred)
- Strong understanding of performance marketing funnels
- Data-driven mindset
- Strong leadership & coordination skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Calicut, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
