Social Media Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced, creative, and strategically driven Social Media Manager with a deep understanding of the events and exhibitions industry.

The ideal candidate should think out of the box, understand projects from an on-ground event perspective, and translate live experiences into powerful digital storytelling.

This role requires someone who can plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across social and digital platforms while being actively involved in event locations across India.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with event and business objectives
  • Plan pre-event, live-event, and post-event engagement strategies
  • Convert event themes and exhibition concepts into impactful digital campaigns
  • Align content calendars with marketing and event timelines

Content & Creative Direction

  • Conceptualize innovative campaigns, reels, storytelling formats, and interactive content
  • Oversee content creation including graphics, videos, motion content, and live coverage
  • Ensure consistent brand voice across all platforms
  • Work closely with 2D/3D designers, photographers, and production teams

Digital Marketing & Performance

  • Plan and execute paid campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, Google, YouTube)
  • Integrate performance marketing, SEO, and email marketing strategies
  • Monitor budgets, ROI, and lead generation metrics
  • Optimize campaigns based on analytics and insights

Event-Focused Execution

  • Travel to event sites across India for live coverage and campaign execution
  • Capture and amplify real-time event highlights (BTS, interviews, walkthroughs, live sessions)
  • Develop engagement strategies during exhibitions and large-scale government events
  • Position the brand as an industry leader through strong digital storytelling

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track KPIs (engagement, reach, conversions, leads, growth metrics)
  • Generate detailed performance reports
  • Continuously improve strategy based on data-driven insights

Mandatory Requirement

  • Candidate must be comfortable traveling Pan-India for event coverage, live campaign execution, and on-ground coordination.
  • Flexibility to work during event schedules, including extended hours when required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of proven experience in Social Media & Digital Marketing
  • Strong understanding of the events and exhibition ecosystem
  • Expertise in paid advertising platforms and analytics tools
  • Experience handling large-scale campaigns and high-profile projects
  • Strong creative thinking and innovative campaign ideation
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

Preferred

  • Experience in exhibition companies, event agencies, or experiential marketing firms
  • Exposure to government projects
  • Team management experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
