Social Media Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Manager to manage and grow the education brand’s digital presence. The role focuses on building trust, engaging students and parents, promoting courses, and driving inquiries through impactful content and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and manage content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, etc.)
• Develop monthly content calendars aligned with academic seasons, admissions, exams, and results
• Create engaging posts, reels, stories, and short-form videos for students and parents
• Manage community engagement: respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly
• Collaborate with design, video, and academic teams for content creation
• Run and optimize paid social media campaigns for lead generation and admissions
• Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, leads, conversions) and prepare reports
• Stay updated with education trends, student behavior, and platform algorithm changes
• Maintain brand voice, credibility, and compliance with education advertising norms

Requirements & Skills

• 1–2 years of experience as a Social Media Manager (education/edtech preferred)
• Strong understanding of student-focused and parent-focused content strategies
• Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and basic performance marketing
• Excellent copywriting skills with clarity, accuracy, and empathy
• Knowledge of tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva, etc.
• Basic understanding of lead funnels and CRM integration is a plus
• Ability to work with deadlines and academic calendars

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling coaching institutes, online courses, or academic brands
• Familiarity with exam seasons
• Video-first mindset (Reels, Shorts, YouTube snippets)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
