Social Media Manager — Swift Hockey (Content & Brand Growth)The Role
You own Swift's voice across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms. This means creating content that actually converts (not just gets likes), growing our audience strategically, and building a community around the brand. You work closely with leadership and our athlete/ambassador network to tell stories that drive engagement and sales.
What you'll do:
- Create and manage content calendar for Instagram and TikTok (mix of organic, UGC, athlete content)
- Monitor trends daily and pivot content strategy in real-time when opportunities appear
- Collaborate with athletes, ambassadors, and user-generated content creators
- Track engagement metrics, reach, and conversion data—optimize based on what works
- Maintain brand voice and visual consistency across all platforms
- Identify and test new content formats, hashtag strategies, and platform features
- Support product launches with coordinated social campaigns
- Manage community engagement (comments, DMs, responding to audience)
What We're Looking For
Must have:
- 2+ years managing social media accounts at scale (50K+ followers minimum)
- Proven track record growing engagement and follower base (show us the numbers)
- Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram algorithms
- Ability to create/source content that performs (you know what hooks people)
- Comfort with analytics—you make content decisions based on data, not feelings
- Familiarity with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Premiere, CapCut, etc.)
Nice to have:
- Interest in sports, hockey, or athletic brands
- Experience collaborating with creators or influencers
- Knowledge of Reels, Shorts, or emerging video formats
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills
- Experience with social commerce or shoppable posts
