Community Engagement & Brand Presence
- Act as the digital voice of Couch Crows and its clients—engaging with followers, influencers, and collaborators online.
- Respond to comments and DMs thoughtfully and promptly to foster trust and engagement.
- Track sentiment, feedback, and trends to report on community pulse.
- Show up online with consistency, clarity, and care—always aligned with the brand voice.
Content Creation & Planning
- Write compelling social media copy (LinkedIn posts, Reels captions, tweets, stories, carousels).
- Collaborate with the design team or independently create content using tools like Canva or CapCut.
- Build and manage a content calendar across channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, Facebook).
- Help develop content themes that elevate Couch Crows’ voice and values—and amplify our clients and causes.
Light Strategy & Trend Spotting
- Support digital and campaign strategy development with insights and competitor scans.
- Monitor performance metrics (reach, shares, saves, comments, etc.) and offer data-informed ideas for improvement.
- Identify viral formats, trends, or cultural conversations that align with our work and values.
Project Execution & Client Support
- Assist in rolling out new brand campaigns, speaker launches, or influencer partnerships.
- Draft basic social decks, copy docs, or recap reports with clear insights and recommendations.
- Occasionally attend in-person events (if local) to support real-time content capture.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience in social media, community management, or digital content marketing (agency or in-house).
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills tailored to social media audiences.
- Social intelligence, able to navigate sensitive topics, diverse communities, and dynamic conversations with empathy and care.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage calendars, priorities, and shifting timelines.
- A collaborative spirit, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-moving team.
Tools
- Experience using social scheduling and analytics tools is a plus (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Sendible, Zoho Social, Agorapulse, SocialPilot, Loomly, Later, Tailwind, Keyhole, Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Google Analytics).
- Familiarity with AI tools for content generation, design, and optimization (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper.ai, Copy.ai, Grammarly, Canva Magic Write, Lately.ai, Notion AI, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney).
- Some experience with light video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Instagram Reels, TikTok editor, Canva Video, Adobe Express).
Nice to Have
- Experience managing public figure, influencer, or thought-leader accounts.
- Familiarity with humanitarian or mission-driven brands.
- Exposure to B2B or social impact marketing environments.
- Design skills or motion graphics (even light Canva animations).
