We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with marketing goals.
• Create engaging content tailored for various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Utilize SEO techniques and keyword research to optimize content for search engines.
• Manage social media advertising campaigns, including Facebook Advertising, to increase reach and engagement.
• Analyze performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and Buffer to measure success and inform future strategies.
• Design graphics to create visually appealing content with brand voice
• Engage with followers, manage relationships, and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Conduct proofreading of all content to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand voice.
• Monitor social media trends and conduct social listening to understand audience preferences.
• Stay updated on digital marketing trends, e-commerce developments, and public relations best practices.
• Edit long content into shorts
• Monetization of videos and platforms
• Schedule and vet podcast guests
• Manage merch sales and customer issues
• Provide weekly updates to production team
• Utilize AI for creation and scheduling
• Produce LIVE podcast episodes

Experience

• Proven experience in social media management, monetization, and digital marketing.
• Strong skills in content creation, graphic design, video editing, and branding.
• Experience in relationship management and public relations is a plus.
• Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn
• A college student or recent grad in marketing, communications, media, or related field
• Or a High school graduate or GED with verifiable experience
• Clean background check

Summary

We aren’t just looking for an intern, we’re looking for a long-term partner willing to invest time for a backend contract. We are prepared to give the right candidate a percentage of all income generated. If that works out for an agreed upon period, we will discuss giving this person a permeant scaled stake in Woodshead Media moving forward.

Woodshead Media currently has roughly 400,000 followers across multiple platforms and two podcasts downloaded in 31 countries, so you won’t be starting from scratch.

Being self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn is the most important part of this gig. Your job is to take things off the owner’s plates, freeing them up to build content and relationships for the brand. There will be no one standing over your shoulder for every task, which is why the long term compensation is meant to be attractive.

Example: You can make up to 20% of $1,000 per month, or you can make 20% of $50,000. How much is truly up to you.
