We’re searching for a powerhouse social media manager to helm the online presence for two distinct but ambitious brands. One is a forward-thinking fashion label (Maui x Lolita), with strong visual DNA, lifestyle leanings, and a growing global audience. The other is an exciting, under-the-radar startup brand (confidential for now). You’ll be the lead architect of both brands’ voice, aesthetic, community, and growth strategy across all social platforms. This is a full-time, fully dedicated role, not a side-gig.

If you live and breathe content calendars, have an instinctive feel for culture and timing, understand analytics as deeply as you understand aesthetics, you might just be the person we’ve been waiting for.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Develop, execute, and own comprehensive social media strategies for both brands, including but not limited to: brand identity, voice and tone, visual aesthetic, community building, growth tactics, and long-term brand equity.
  • Manage multiple social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X / Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, perhaps newer or niche platforms depending on brand needs), tailoring voice and content to each while maintaining consistent brand identity.
  • Produce and oversee content creation: conceptualize, plan, coordinate, and schedule a mix of high-impact content, photos, video clips, reels, stories, behind-the-scenes, mood-board style posts, product drops, lifestyle shots, promotional content, editorial-style campaigns.
  • Collaborate with other creative teams (design, fashion, visual art, copy) to ensure all content aligns with brand direction, seasonal campaigns, drops, and marketing goals.
  • Build and manage content calendars, campaign roadmaps, posting schedules, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor platform analytics and KPIs, engagement rates, reach, follower growth, conversions (where applicable), community sentiment — and use data to optimize strategy.
  • Engage directly with followers: community management, responding to comments/direct messages, moderating discourse, fostering brand loyalty, and building a real, authentic community.
  • Coordinate collaborations, influencer partnerships, and brand activations (when required), including outreach, negotiation (as needed), and amplification strategy.
  • Stay on top of platform trends, algorithm shifts, social media culture, emerging platforms, and competitive brand activity. Continuously adapt and evolve brand social strategy to stay ahead of trends.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism regarding the “confidential” brand, treat certain projects, campaigns, and brand identity as highly protected information until ready for public/exclusive release.
  • Work full-time, in close communication with brand leads, sometimes fast paces, sometimes long hours, especially around launches, drops, campaigns. Flexibility required.

Who You Are (Must-Have Qualifications & Traits)

  • Minimum 5+ years (ideally 7–10) of hands-on experience managing social media for fashion, lifestyle, e-commerce, or other consumer-facing brands, ideally experience across multiple brands simultaneously.
  • A strong portfolio showing real results: documented growth in followers, engagement rates, content strategies that performed, executed brand campaigns, collaboration/influencer work, content calendar management, aesthetic-driven feeds.
  • Deep understanding of each major social platform’s nuances, what works on Instagram vs TikTok vs X vs Pinterest vs FB, and ability to adapt voice/visual accordingly.
  • Creative eye + storytelling mindset: you think in visuals, mood, vibe. You see content not as posts but as a living, breathing brand narrative.
  • Skilled at content planning and scheduling, but also agile, able to jump on trends, pivot quickly, respond in real time to cultural shifts.
  • Excellent writing and copy skills, captioning, tone, brand voice, community communication.
  • Strong data literacy: comfortable reading analytics dashboards, interpreting performance data, and using insights to guide creative and strategic decisions.
  • Community-first attitude: you care about followers, brand fans, the audience. You treat social media as real relationships, not just metrics.
  • Professionalism and discretion, especially when managing the confidential brand. You understand the sensitivity and responsibility involved.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, disciplined, able to juggle multiple tasks, calendars, deadlines, brands simultaneously without losing quality.
  • Bonus: familiarity with fashion/lifestyle branding, e-commerce dynamics, cultural trends, influencer marketing, short-form video creation, or UGC culture. Bonus: Adobe design/video editing skills or ability to collaborate closely with creative teams.

Compensation + Work Structure

  • Target hourly rate: $30–35/hr, depending on experience, portfolio strength, and skill set.
  • Full-time hours, paid hourly (approx. 35–40 hrs/week), potential for occasional overtime particularly around drops, campaigns, and launches.
  • Additional perks: opportunities for bonuses, potential for performance-based raises, possibility for expanded role in marketing/creative direction as brands grow.
  • Remote-friendly / hybrid possibility (depending on candidate location and brand needs).

Why Join Us

  • You’ll run social for not one but two brands, high visibility, real responsibility, creative freedom, and a rare opportunity to shape emerging narratives from the ground up.
  • Work with founders who value true creativity, vision, and authenticity. We’re not corporate. We’re artistic, edgy, forward-thinking. We believe in culture, aesthetics, luxury, hustle.
  • A chance to build something meaningful: shape brand identity, influence emerging fashion and lifestyle aesthetics, and help build brands with soul and purpose.
