About the Role

UrgentOps is looking for a creative, driven Social Media Manager/Content Creator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a freelancer or creative professional looking to build their portfolio while doing work they love.

What You'll Do

  • Capture on-site photo and video content at various NYC-area locations
  • Create engaging, on-brand content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
  • Schedule and publish posts, manage content calendars
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages as needed
  • Collaborate with the UrgentOps team to align content with campaigns and priorities

What We're Looking For

  • Genuine passion for content creation and storytelling
  • Experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional)
  • Strong eye for visual content — photography and/or video editing skills a plus
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight
  • Familiarity with platforms like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe tools is a bonus
  • Must be based in NYC or the surrounding area — on-site availability is required

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mount Vernon, NY 10550
