Social Media Manager / Office Admin

The Bin Spa is a rapidly growing home service company in Central Texas that helps homeowners keep their trash bins clean and sanitary and offers power washing services. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a creative and motivated Social Media & Office Administrator to join our small team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating content, understands social media trends, and wants to play a meaningful role in helping a small business grow.

You’ll work directly with the owner and have the opportunity to help shape our social media presence while also supporting day-to-day office operations and customer success.

This position will spend roughly half of the time focused on social media and content creation, and the other half assisting with office operations and supporting the growth of the business.

Responsibilities

Social media and content creation

  • Plan, create, and publish content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
  • Film and edit short-form video content for social media
  • Develop creative ideas for engaging content that promotes the business
  • Help develop and execute a social media strategy focused on growth and engagement
  • Stay up to date with social media trends and viral content styles
  • Track performance and identify what types of content perform best
  • Work with the owner to create authentic behind-the-scenes and educational content about the business

Office administration and business support

  • Occasionally answer incoming calls and assist customers
  • Respond to emails and customer inquiries
  • Make follow-up calls and assist with scheduling
  • Support customer success and help ensure a great customer experience
  • Assist with light sales and administrative tasks
  • Help with small projects that support business growth and day-to-day operations

Required experience

Applicants must have prior experience creating or managing social media content.

This could include:

  • Managing social media for a business
  • Creating content for a brand
  • Running or growing a personal creator account
  • Freelance social media work
  • Digital marketing or social media coursework with hands-on content creation

Selected applicants may be asked to provide examples of content they have created, including videos, posts, or social media accounts they have managed.

Bonus qualifications

  • Experience with video editing software
  • Marketing, communications, or digital media education
  • Experience working in a small business office
  • Customer service or administrative experience
  • Experience helping grow a local or service-based business

Schedule

Full-time position

  • Four days per week in the office
  • One day per week hybrid/remote

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
