Social Media Marketing Intern

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital marketing and eager to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and branding. The intern will assist in developing and executing social media strategies, engaging with our audience, and analyzing performance metrics to enhance our online presence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and scheduling of engaging content across various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Conduct SEO and keyword research to optimize content for search engines.
• Engage in social listening to understand audience sentiment and trends.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on graphic design projects using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases and managing relationships with influencers.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaigns and content ideas.
• Edit videos and photographs for use on social media channels.
• Proofread all content to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Assist with e-commerce initiatives by promoting products through social media advertising.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Familiarity with social media marketing strategies and tools.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and web analytics (Google Analytics).
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator; experience with video editing is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent proofreading abilities.
• Creative mindset with an eye for graphic design and branding.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices is preferred.

Pay: $1.00 - $10.00 per hour
