Digital Marketing Intern - Eligible candidates are students graduating in May 2027 (current juniors/rising seniors). This is a 10-week internship based in our Charlotte, NC headquarter office (June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026)

As an intern at Pillar4 Media, you'll have the opportunity to get real-world, hands-on experience at one of the fastest growing digital media companies in the US. In addition to learning new skills and working directly with subject matter experts in SEO, editorial, creative, paid media, revenue operations and analytics, you'll get to work on meaningful projects that make a difference for consumers seeking to improve their health and wellness.

What our team does

Our team is at the intersection of data, performance, and strategy. We:

  • Analyze revenue, conversion, and traffic data to drive business decisions, optimize channels, and strengthen partnerships.
  • Actively manage and optimize paid media accounts across platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Facebook Ads.
  • Build tools, dashboards, and analytics solutions used daily by business leaders to monitor performance and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with teams across SEO, Product, Engineering, and Design to identify areas for improvement and drive measurable results.
  • Own key initiatives that improve profitability, efficiency, and digital marketing performance.

The types of projects you will work on

As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will:

  • Dive into large datasets to identify trends, optimize performance, and make actionable recommendations across sites, channels, pages.
  • Learn how to navigate and execute within digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads, and Google Analytics.
  • Support keyword-level analysis, automated bidding strategies, creative testing, and campaign optimization to drive profitable growth.
  • Turn complex datasets into digestible analyses and visualizations using tools such as Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
  • Build, clean, and analyze data to support daily decision-making and cross-functional projects.
  • Own tests and contribute to execution strategies, reporting back on results and insights to senior leaders.

By the end of the summer you will

  • Gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, analytics, and performance optimization.
  • Be well-versed in major advertising platforms (Google, Bing) and marketing analytics tools (Excel, SQL, PowerBI).
  • Understand how to gather, clean, analyze, and report on large datasets to influence business strategy.
  • Develop a comprehensive view of how Paid Media, SEO, Content, and UX work together to grow a digital business.
  • Share insights and test results with senior leaders, receiving direct feedback on strategy and execution.
