Position Overview

Matlay is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern for a period of three months. The ideal candidate should have a passion for digital marketing, content creation, and social media trends. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in brand building and online marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing company social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
• Create engaging content including posts, captions, stories, and reels
• Design basic graphics using tools like Canva
• Conduct hashtag research and competitor analysis
• Monitor engagement, messages, and comments
• Support in planning and scheduling content calendars
• Assist in running and monitoring paid ad campaigns
• Track and report social media performance metrics

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Media, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and trends
• Familiarity with content creation and basic design tools
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Creative mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
