Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and drive brand awareness. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing trends.
Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media marketing strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
- Create engaging content tailored to each platform that resonates with our target audience, utilizing skills in graphic design and photography.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and engagement opportunities through social listening techniques.
- Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Adobe Creative Suite for scheduling posts, analyzing performance metrics, and managing content calendars.
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines.
- Analyze web analytics using Google Analytics to track campaign performance and make data-driven decisions for future strategies.
- Manage online communities by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner while maintaining a positive brand image.
- Collaborate with the Owner to align messaging across all channels and support e-commerce initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing to continuously improve our social media efforts.
- Proofread all content for accuracy and branding consistency before publication.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and video editing software is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of social media marketing principles including Facebook Advertising and relationship management.
- Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail in proofreading content.
- Experience with digital marketing strategies including branding and e-commerce initiatives is a plus.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns is essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
