Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and creative Social Media Marketing Coordinator to manage and grow our campground’s online presence. This role focuses on capturing content, posting consistently, and promoting campground activities, rentals, and events to drive bookings and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and schedule content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok
- Capture photos and videos of campground activities, guests (when appropriate), and property features
- Develop short-form video content (Reels/TikToks) highlighting experiences
- Write clear, engaging captions that promote events, rentals, and amenities
- Promote upcoming events, weekend activities, and seasonal offers
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule (3–5 posts per week)
- Assist with simple graphic design using tools like Canva and CapCut
- Identify trends and suggest content ideas relevant to outdoor recreation and camping
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
- Comfortable taking photos and videos using a smartphone
- Would prefer to have a digital high quality camera to capture photos/videos
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Reliable transportation to be on-site regularly
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools preferred
- Interest in outdoor recreation, camping, or tourism is a plus
Compensation
- Hourly: $15/hour depending on experience
- OR
- Monthly stipend option available based on agreed scope of work
Schedule
- Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays (especially during events and peak season)
- Approximately 8–15 hours per week

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
