Job Opportunity - Social Media Officer

HEADLINE:

We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Officer to join our team. Social Media Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence, improve our marketing and brand awareness. The scope of the work would include all social media related work related to PIPS Mirpur Branch.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Department & Function: Digital Marketing

Position: Social Media Officer

Location: Mirpur, Azad Kashmir (PIPS Mirpur)

Reporting to: Deputy Managing Director

Job Type: Full Time (Maximum 40 Hours per week – as per school timings)

Total Positions: 1

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the company's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and social media presence. The job would also involve creation of interactive graphical posts, animations etc. for digital marketing use.

Job Responsibilities:

· Develop, implement and manage social media strategy

· Creating graphical content with regular postings in social media platform

· Content boosting and page management.

· Use social media tools like Facebook, Instagram

· Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimization

· Youtube Channel and Regular Postings/Management

· Provide constructive feedback

· Website Management as and when required (only postings)

· Other administrative, financial work as per requirement

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):

Education:

· Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Marketing or relevant field

Work Experience:

· 1-2 years of experience as a social media specialist or similar role.

· Hands on experience in graphic designing social media posts (coral, photoshop)

· Hands on experience in social media management via Facebook, Instagram, Youtube etc.

Skills – Generic:

· MS Office Excel

· MS Office Power Point

· Team player

· Good time management skills

· Good communication skills

Skills – Job Specific:

· Graphic Designing

· Understanding of web traffic metrics

· Experience with ad boosting to targeted audiences

· Good understanding of social media

· Familiarity with web design and publishing posts as per latest designs

· Critical thinker and problem-solving skill

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs20,000.00 - Rs25,000.00 per month
