The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and drive audience engagement. This role requires creativity, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of digital trends and analytics.
Content Creation
- Produce compelling content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, and more.
- Write captions, design graphics, flilm short-form videos, and collaborate with internal teams for brand-aligned assets.
- Ensure all content is visually appealing, on-brand, and optimized for each platform.
Community Management
- Respond to comments, messages, mentions, and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Monitor conversations, engage with followers, and build meaningful relationships with audiences.
- Implement social listening to track sentiment and brand reputation.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze KPIs such as engagement, reach, impressions, click-throughs, and follower growth.
- Provide monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
- Adjust strategies based on performance data and audience behavior.
Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, design, sales, and product teams to coordinate campaigns.
- Support broader marketing initiatives with social media amplification.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
- 1–3+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of social platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
- Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, etc.).
- Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with social listening tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, Buffer).
- Knowledge of SEO and email marketing is a plus.
- Experience with influencer outreach and partnership management.
