Social Media Specialist

We’re seeking a Social Media Strategist to support campaign development, reporting, and strategy for a growing creative team. This role is ideal for someone who loves blending creativity with data, and who can bring fresh ideas while keeping projects on track.

Title: Social Media Strategist

Location: Seattle ( Hybrid)

Contract Type: Contract with Opportunity for Hire

Hours: Starts as PT, FT if hired on

Pay: $40-55/hour

Main Responsibilities:

• Support development of social media campaigns, from ideation through execution
• Track trends and bring forward fresh, relevant ideas for content and campaigns
• Collaborate with creative teams and attend strategy meetings to align on direction
• Manage and schedule content across multiple channels
• Create reporting decks that tell a clear story with data and provide recommendations for future campaigns
• Use social listening tools to analyze audience insights and competitive activity
• Assist with campaign planning, boosting strategies, and publishing calendars
• Stay open to new approaches, including emerging technologies and AI in social media
• Provide additional support for ad-hoc social and marketing projects as needed

• Comfortable with reporting and social media management tools (Sprout, Hootsuite, or similar)
• 4–6+ years of social media or digital marketing experience with large enterprise brands
• Strong experience in campaign concepting and trend monitoring
• Skilled at creating presentations and reports that drive enthusiasm and understanding
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain the “why” behind strategies and recommendations
• Familiarity with collaboration platforms (e.g., Figma, Slack, etc.) a plus
• Organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player
