A Social Media Specialist is the point of contact for all things social, including Online Reputation Management, content, strategy, and the daily upkeep of active social channels.

A Social Media Specialist is the point of contact for all things social, including Online Reputation Management, content, strategy, and the daily upkeep of active social channels.


What will I be doing?

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Plan and execute creative content for social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) including posts, stories, and reels.
  • Organize and conduct photoshoots for hotel, events, and campaigns to create high-quality visual content.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure brand consistency across all online platforms.
  • Manage and optimize company presence on e-commerce platforms (such as Booking, TripAdvisor, Expedia, etc.).
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics to improve content strategies.
  • Stay updated with social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep the brand competitive and engaging.
  • Engage with the online community, respond to comments/messages, and build strong digital customer relationships.

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong skills in content creation (photo, video, and copywriting).
  • Experience in photoshoot planning and execution (basic photography and videography skills).
  • Knowledge and experience in managing e-commerce platforms.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
