Social Media Specialist , Clinical Support Services

Non-Exempt –Full Time (32-40 Hours per Week)

Seeking a Full Time creative, trend-savvy Social Media Specialist to help grow and manage our digital presence across multiple platforms. This role is perfect for a candidate who loves digital storytelling and can turn complex healthcare and research topics into engaging, accessible content.

Minimum Qualifications

This is a patient-sensitive position and must meet all associated requirements. To protect our patients, coworkers, and community, all employees in patient-sensitive roles are required to sign a HIPAA privacy policy.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of Marketing/Communications/Public Relations experience.
• Bachelor's in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
• Experience managing social media accounts (academic, organizational, or professional).
• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone for different platforms.
• Basic graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere).
• Familiarity with social media analytics and platform-specific best practices.
• Awareness of current and emerging social media trends.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative with strong time management skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team setting.
• Genuine passion for social media, digital culture, and storytelling.
• Interest in research, innovation, or science communication is a plus.
• Photography and/or Videography/Editing experience.
• Media relations experience.
• Media monitoring platform experience.
