Job Title: Social Media Specialist Job Summary

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing content across social media platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth. This role works closely with marketing teams to align social media strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Create engaging captions, visuals, and short-form video content
• Monitor comments, messages, and reviews; respond in a timely and professional manner
• Plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions
• Analyze performance metrics and prepare regular reports
• Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices
• Collaborate with designers, influencers, and marketing teams
• Manage social media calendars and brand voice consistency
• Support paid social media ads when required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and analytics tools
• Excellent written and visual communication skills
• Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools is an advantage
