About the Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Executive who lives and breathes Instagram and TikTok. Someone who understands trends before they peak, knows how to turn ideas into scroll-stopping content, and isn’t afraid to be in front of the camera.
You’ll own our social presence end-to-end — from content calendars and trend spotting to community engagement and creator coordination. This role is for someone who wants to push the brand’s content game forward, not just maintain it.
What You’ll Do: Content & Strategy
- Create weekly and monthly content calendars aligned with trends, brand tone, and business goals
- Spot emerging Instagram & TikTok trends and adapt them quickly for the brand
- Brainstorm content formats, series, and recurring concepts that build consistency and recall
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s voice, personality, and visual identity
Content Creation
- Be open and confident filming yourself for reels, TikToks, BTS, trend-led and personality-driven content
- Coordinate and brief designers on creatives (posts, reels covers, stories, motion assets)
- Collaborate with videographers, creators, and internal teams to execute ideas
- Help elevate overall content quality — storytelling, pacing, hooks, captions
Community & Engagement
- Manage day-to-day community engagement (comments, DMs, replies, reposts)
- Build a strong, fun, and loyal brand community
- Engage with relevant creators, pages, and trends to increase visibility and reach
Growth & Performance
- Drive organic growth on Instagram & TikTok
- Track performance of posts, reels, and campaigns
- Share insights on what’s working, what’s not, and how to improve
Who You Are
- Chronically online (in a good way) — you get social culture
- Comfortable being on camera and bringing personality to content
- Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Confident managing designers and giving clear creative direction
- Understands Gen-Z + Millennial humour, tone, and visual language
- Can balance creativity with consistency and brand discipline
Must-Haves
- Strong understanding of Instagram & TikTok algorithms
- Experience creating and managing content calendars
- Excellent written communication for captions, replies, and brand tone
- Strong understanding of what makes a reel or TikTok perform
- Willingness to experiment, iterate, and move fast
Nice to Have
- Experience with food, beverage, lifestyle, or D2C brands
- Basic editing skills (CapCut, InShot, Premiere Rush, etc.)
- Experience working with influencers or UGC creators
