Role: Social Media Strategist (Temporary)
Duration: 3-4+ Months, could extend based on performance!

Pay Rate: $45-$50/hr

Location: Downtown, Manhattan (*3 days a week onsite*)
Job Description:

We are seeking a highly creative and results-driven Social Media Strategist with a proven track record in the media, entertainment, or music space. This role is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand identity and ambitious business objectives.
Your focus will be on translating the pulse of pop culture and viral trends into actionable, engaging content strategies for audience.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning: Design and execute an overarching social media strategy (organic and paid) that drives brand awareness, engagement, and conversion across key platforms, including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and LinkedIn.

  • Trend-Spotting & Innovation: Leverage deep expertise from the media/entertainment/music sectors to identify emerging platforms, viral trends, and cultural moments. Translate these into first-mover content opportunities for our brand.

  • Content Excellence: Collaborate with the creative team to develop a distinctive brand voice and visual aesthetic for social media. Oversee content creation, ensuring all assets are high-quality, on-brand, and optimized for maximum platform performance.

  • Audience Engagement: Develop community management guidelines and strategies to foster a thriving, loyal community. Identify and engage with relevant influencers, creators, and brand advocates.

  • Analytics & Optimization: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilize advanced analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of all social media initiatives. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to continually optimize strategy and budget allocation.

  • Budget Management: Manage the social media budget, including allocation for paid campaigns, tools, and potential creator partnerships.
