Overskies is seeking a results-driven Social Media Strategist to lead our social media presence for luxury brand accounts. The ideal candidate brings deep platform expertise, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to craft compelling brand narratives that drive engagement and business growth across social channels.
This is a dynamic role that requires strategic thinking, organic social media management capabilities, and community management skills. The ability to balance creative storytelling with social metrics is also key.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand objectives, audience insights, and business goals across Meta, TikTok and YouTube.
- Plan, schedule, and publish high-quality content using our social media management platform.
- Work with in-house art director and team to produce high quality creative content for posting on social media.
- Conduct social listening and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, keeping brands ahead of industry conversations.
- Build and nurture engaged online communities by actively responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in real-time, maintaining brand voice and fostering customer loyalty.
- Create compelling copy, captions, and content briefs that align with luxury brand aesthetics and drive meaningful engagement.
- Collaborate with designers, strategists, copywriters, and account teams to develop cohesive campaigns and content calendars.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media metrics, engagement rates, and brand awareness data using platform analytics and third-party tools to inform strategy optimization.
- Coordinate influencer partnerships and brand collaborations to amplify reach and enhance brand credibility.
- Stay current with platform algorithm changes, emerging trends, and social media best practices to ensure content remains relevant and high-performing.
- Handle crisis management and reputation monitoring, escalating issues appropriately.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to optimize content creation, posting schedules, and performance predictions.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience in social media management, ideally within luxury, lifestyle, fashion, or agency environments.
- Proven track record of growing social media audiences, increasing engagement rates, and driving measurable business results.
- Expert knowledge of major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube) including algorithms, best practices, and platform-specific content formats.
- Proficiency with social media management tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, Dash Social, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using social media analytics tools
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice for different brands and audiences.
- Experience with community management, customer service best practices, and real-time engagement strategies.
- Familiarity with content creation tools, basic graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite basics), and video editing for Reels/Stories/TikToks.
- Experience with social listening tools and brand monitoring
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple brand accounts independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to monitor and respond to social media outside traditional business hours when necessary.
