Social Organizers

RS Welfare Foundation, with the support of its donors, is initiating emergency flood relief operations to support affected communities in Tehsil Zafarwal UC Darman. The project aims to provide immediate relief assistance, including food, shelter, health support, and other essential services, to flood-affected populations.

To ensure effective community mobilization and participation in the flood relief project, RS Welfare Foundation requires four Social Organizers. They will be responsible for engaging with affected communities, supporting beneficiary identification, and facilitating relief distributions.

Responsibilities

• Mobilize communities and support in beneficiary identification and verification.
• Conduct community meetings to share project objectives and processes.
• Support smooth distribution of relief goods and services.
• Ensure inclusion of vulnerable groups (women, children, elderly, disabled).
• Document feedback, grievances, and report to the MEAL Assistant.
• Support awareness-raising activities related to health, hygiene, and safety.
• Maintain records of community engagement and participation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field (Intermediate with relevant experience may also be considered).
• 1–2 years’ experience in community mobilization, preferably in emergency/humanitarian settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and under challenging field conditions.

Reporting Line

Report directly to the Project Manager and work closely with field staff, MEAL, and HR.
