Social studies Teacher-Township

Lahore, Pakistan

The Social Studies Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that help students develop a strong understanding of history, geography, civics, culture, and current events. The teacher fosters critical thinking, analytical skills, and respect for diverse perspectives while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum and learning standards.
  • Teach subjects such as history, geography, civics, culture, and global studies.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods (lectures, discussions, group activities, projects, and technology-based tools) to engage students.
  • Encourage critical thinking, debate, and inquiry-based learning.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, tests, projects, and class participation.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve academically and personally.
  • Maintain accurate student records, grades, and reports.
  • Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning.
  • Stay updated with current events and integrate them into lessons where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student success.
  • Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies, History, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Teaching certification or relevant license (as per regional requirements).
  • Strong knowledge of social studies content areas.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use technology and digital tools in the classroom.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs25,000.00 per month
